Andi Chorley

Andi was born in Kansas and moved to Oklahoma at an early age. At age 17, she joined the US Army. Her first duty station was Ft. Campbell, Kentucky, where she was assigned to Easy company with the 1-502 Infantry Battalion. Between 2005 and 2009, she was deployed to Iraq twice – first to an area south of Baghdad known as The Triangle of Death, and later to Khadamiyah. After her second deployment, she returned stateside to Ft. Riley, Kansas, and soon after suffered two separate episodes of Takotsubo cardiomyopathy, more commonly known as “broken heart syndrome.” After a failed suicide attempt, she realized Jesus would be her only hope. She medically retired from the Army in January 2011, and moved to Harrah, Oklahoma. In 2016, by happenchance, she found herself inside the walls of Harrah Church. Within one month, she was asked to take the helm of the youth Sunday School program, a position she admittedly had no business doing, as she was broken herself. But, in April 2017, she was invited into a discipling relationship with the late Rachel Moix, and over the following year, Rachel would teach her the words, ways and works of Jesus Christ. Andi learned to hear the voice of the Lord in her life and walk out her obedience daily. Andi is an ordained minister and she graduated from Kansas Christian College with an associate degree in Leadership and Ministry. By her own admission, she is an imperfect person. Yet Rachel poured into her for a year, facilitating a transformation in Andi that has resulted in her recognizing the calling on her life is to pour into women the same way.

Andi still lives in Harrah, Oklahoma, with her husband, Mike, her son, Calvin (11), and her two daughters, Micah (7) and Lucy (6). She enjoys hiking, hunting, crafting, baking, and enjoys designing and selling Christian clothing through her store Chorley’s.
